After discovering a few critical bugs in the R1 Alpha 4 release, we've
decided to re-release R1A4 as R1A4.1.
The bugs discovered only required small fixes but caused a large number
of users grief.

The R1A4.1 image has replaced the R1A4 image on the website as of this
morning.

For details on the solved issues, see:
http://www.haiku-os.org/news/2012-11-14_haiku_release_1_alpha_41

Please report any bugs you find at http://dev.haiku-os.org

Thanks!

This is great news!

Will the "Haiku® R1/Alpha 4 Commemorative CDs" contain the original
R1A4 release, or will they include the bugfixes and be R1A4.1?

Thank you,

As far as I know, the Commemorative CDs should have R1A4.1 on them :)

Confirmed. All r1a4 commemorative CD orders will receive r1 alpha 4.1

Originally, the orders were put on hold (as stated on
haiku-inc.org/order-disc.html) , until a production CD was received and
tested internally. Luckily, r1a4.1 was released before that production CD
arrived. So now, a new r1a4.1 commemorativee disc is enroute. Once its
confirmed that the production process is valid and the discs are 'OK', the
orders will be processed.

I miss the shipping costs on that page -- how expensive is shipping
those CDs overseas? Is that already included in the $10/8 EUR limit?

Bye,
Axel.
